Audio Engineer, Producer
Since 2017, Brandon Tomei hasn't only lent his guitar and bass-playing talents to his records; He's recorded, produced, and composed every track.
With his degree in audio engineering and years of self-taught skills in music production, Brandon resourcefully records albums for his indie band, Good Friend Electric, and his undefinable, genre-bending solo project, Names Are Violent.
In a few short years, he's accumulated over 100 records across streaming platforms, signed with NJ record label Unable Music, and hit #22 on iTunes' Top 200 Christmas chart in South Africa and France with his 2016 album, Acoustic Christmas Hits.
A regular in the podcasting studio, Brandon has produced music for WHYY's Serum Podcast, created his limited series, DIY Sound Library, and currently hosts, and edits Plazecast, a collaborative effort with PLAZE providing insight into Philadelphia's music scene.
When he isn't playing shows in Brooklyn or Philly, he's producing current projects and strumming the beginning chords of whatever might come next.
